The Valley Radio Club combines the thrill of outdoor adventure with the technical challenge of amateur radio. What We Do
Summit Activations
Hike to mountain peaks and activate them for amateur radio contacts worldwide.
Forest Operations
Set up portable stations in remote forest locations for emergency preparedness.
Lakeside Nets
Conduct regular nets from beautiful lakeside locations throughout the region.

Spring Peak Activation - Eagle Peak
Join us for our first summit activation of the year! We'll hike to Eagle Peak (4,200 ft) and set up a portable station for worldwide contacts. Perfect for beginners and experienced operators alike.
Forest Emergency Drill
Practice emergency communication procedures in a realistic forest setting. Learn portable antenna deployment, battery management, and emergency protocols while enjoying the beauty of nature.
Lakeside Net & BBQ
Join us for a relaxing day at Crystal Lake with a special outdoor net, followed by a club BBQ. Bring your family and enjoy good food, great company, and beautiful scenery.
